Cheryl Cole's husband Ashley has been given a driving ban for speeding in his sports car. The soccer player - who was travelling at more than twice.

The speed limit in his Lamborghini Gallardo when he was caught racing along the A3 in South West London on November 17 2008 - was today (29.01.10) fined £1,000 and banned from driving for four months.

The Chelsea defender - who claimed he was being chased by paparazzi - was caught doing 104mph in a 50mph zone.

Ashley did not appear in court but was told by Kingston magistrates he could face prison if he drives while disqualified.

The 29-year-old sportsman's legal team immediately launched a bid against the ban which will be considered later. His lawyer Katherine Hodson revealed Ashley was "regrettably" unable to attend the hearing because he was playing a soccer match tomorrow night (30.01.10).

British singer Cheryl Cole, best known as a judge on the hit "X Factor" television series, will support U.S. group the Black Eyed Peas on the British leg of their forthcoming THE E.N.D. world tour.

The 26-year-old, who is launching a solo career after success with girl band Girls Aloud, will perform songs from her chart-topping debut album "3 Words," starting at London's O2 Arena on May 5. The tour ends in Birmingham on June 1.

Black Eyed Peas frontman will.i.am. collaborated with Cole on several of the songs on the album. The Black Eyed Peas, nominated for six Grammys ahead of the awards ceremony at the weekend, kicks off its world tour in Atlanta on February 4.

When Cheryl Cole was snapped passing through London's Heathrow Airport on her way to Germany, her lips looked deliciously plump, sparking speculation that she'd had collagen injections - a rumour that was swiftly denied by her spokesperson.

Cheryl was in Germany for the DLD Starnight music awards at Haus der Kunst, Munich, where she dazzled the crowd in a gorgeous nude sequined dress and danced on stage with a hologram.

X Factor judge Cheryl Cole was nearly in tears after hearing Simon Cowell's song for Haiti, according to reports.

The Girls Aloud star, 26, appeared upset when she heard the new version of Everybody Hurts, which has been recorded to raise money for Haiti’s quake victims.

Cole features on the REM song, alongside a host of other artists including Miley Cyrus, Britain's Got Talent star Susan Boyle and James Morrison.

Singer Mika, who also performs on the track, which was recorded in London, said: 'I have friends from France whose families have been directly affected in Haiti. They lost relatives and their homes.

'I have a collection of Haiti paintings in my flat, so it’s a place close to me.' The Lollipop singer added: 'I’m looking at different ways I can do something.'

The Girls Aloud beauty is a huge fan of the French designer - having been pictured in at least five of his dresses.

But is unable to show her support when he showcases his couture collection at Paris Fashion Week because of work commitments.

He said: 'I'd have loved for Cheryl to be there but she'll be tied up with European promotions for her new album.'

As well as his sought-after gowns Stephane also revealed he will be adding other aspects to his collection.

He told vogue.com: 'I'm working on my ready-to-wear launch in 2011, with an entirely new concept to reveal, as well as the creation of fragrances. It's a thrilling time.

Also my bags are carving out a stronger slice than I expected so we're taking on new shapes, using new techniques and setting more accessible prices.

And we will launch a jewellery line though probably not until 2012. Barely space to breathe - but I love it!'

Fresh-faced and smiling, Cheryl Cole brushed off controversy about her appearance as she posed at an awards ceremony last night.

Pictures of the singer with plumped up lips have caused speculation about whether she has used filler. But Cheryl's representatives whole-heartedly deny the charge. And in her $3,995 Hervé Léger by Max Azria dress she certainly looked at ease at the event in Germany last night.

The golden strapless dress, emblazoned with silver sequins, showed off Cheryl's slim figure.In the past the singer has revealed she is not against cosmetic surgery. But she said that she would always be honest over whether she had indulged.

She also said she has no issues with others going under the knife if it makes them more confident admitting: 'I've got nothing against cosmetic surgery.

Cheryl Cole could record a song originally intended for Alicia Keys, her new producer has revealed. OneRepublic frontman Ryan Tedder - who disclosed last week that he has been working in the recording studio with Cole - is keen for her to tackle a ballad he wrote with Keys last year.

"There's a song I did with Alicia Keys that was finished too late for her album and I'm convinced it's the perfect song for Cheryl Cole," he told Digital Spy. "I'm desperately trying to get the demo out of her label's grasp so I can play it for Cheryl. It's a ballad in my sense, so it's got massive drums and it really moves, and it'll give you goosebumps when you hear it."

Chubby Gareth takes the mickey by donning a heavy red military coat and peaked cap for his own version of Fight For This Love. More than 30,000 people have already watched his hilarious spoof of Cheryl's recent chart-topping video.

And cheeky Gareth, 27, has even sent a copy to the X-Factor judge herself who is said to have found it fun.  Her video cost up to £1million, but Gareth made his for just £300 with a little help from family and friends from his days at drama school.

Gareth, who weighs two and a half times as much as Cheryl, said: "I had a lot of fun doing it and people around the world have enjoyed watching it.

"It's getting more hits every day and I'm getting positive feedback from everyone, including the most dedicated Cheryl Cole fans."

It was her fifth appearance in this French Haute Couture label - and quite a change from the avant-garde young British designers we have come to associate her with. So, just who is Stéphane Rolland? And how did he end up dressing one of the most sought-after pop-stars of the moment?

The 43 year-old eclectic couturier was brought up in the south of France, Argentina and the West Indies. He chose to study fashion at the Chambre Syndicale de la Couture Parisienne and struck gold when Balenciaga hired him to work on the menswear collections when he was 21. He was promoted to creative director within a year. His success continued when he joined Jean-Louis Scherrer Haute Couture, where he spent a decade as creative director.
