Cheryl Cole to be mentored by Jay-Z for US break

Cheryl Cole is reportedly set to be mentored by hip-hop mogul Jay-Z for her break in the US. The X Factor judge was said to be in talks with Beyonce Knowles’ husband for a collaboration. “Cheryl is the biggest fan of Jay-Z and Beyonce,” the Mirror quoted a source as saying.

“To hear the feeling is mutual has totally made her year. She never imagined her album would have taken off like this. “To get Jay-Z’s support is beyond her wildest dreams,” the source added.


The one-off special - entitled Cheryl Cole's Night In - will further establish the singer as a solo artist following the release of her solo album, 3 Words.
Cole, 26, appears in the L'Oreal advertisement spruiking the company's latest shampoo and conditioner range. 
Since then, she was photographed apparently having a row with husband Ashley during a night out in London last week, which fuelled speculation all was not well.
