It’s claimed the star is keen to find out who will cover Dannii Minogue’s maternity leave before she commits to the show.

Fee Doran, who designs under the label “Mrs Jones”, has turned her hand to creating a collection of jackets for Cheryl Cole, as she supports the Black Eyed Peas on their UK arena tour.

Continuing her penchant for all things military, the Girls Aloud star sported a camouflage-print, sleeveless jacket, embellished with gemstones and fringed epaulettes when she performed in Dublin, this week.

As the tour travels on to Birmingham, Manchester, and London's O2 arena, more jackets by Mrs Jones will be revealed. Doran's design career took off 10 years ago from a mere market stall.

Cheryl Cole has been voted the most stylish female of the decade – just a week after being named the world's sexiest woman. More than a third of women believe the 26-year-old singer should be given iconic status, according to a poll by Galaxy.

Cheryl Cole has been confirmed to perform at the Brit Awards next month. The Girls Aloud singer, who topped the chart with debut solo album 3 Words in November, will sing live at the annual music ceremony on February 16.

Lady GaGa, Kasabian, JLS and Robbie Williams will also perform at the event, which marks its 30th anniversary this year. Meanwhile, Dizzee Rascal and Florence and the Machine are expected to team up to perform a mash-up of their two recent singles, dubbed 'You Got The Dirtee Love'.
