UK X Factor and Eurovision contestants Jedward speak exclusively to Star magazine about their obsession with Britney Spears and how their dreams of meeting her may actually become reality. They also speak to Star about this year’s UK X Factor show and put to rest those Big Brother rumours after it was circulated that they are expected to be contestants on the show this year.
~ On their chances of meeting Britney Spears, Edward explains: “We’re going to dinner with Britney Spears, we’re going to her hotel!”
~ On how they are brainwashing the rest of the public into becoming Britney fans, Edward says: “Me and John go into a shop and put all the Britney Spears songs at the No.1 spot and her CDs everywhere.”
~ On their views regarding the UK X Factor taking place this year without Cheryl Cole, John tells Star: “I think she’ll eventually come back to the X Factor, just like Louis Walsh did, and everyone will be like: ‘OMG!’”

~ Sam on how Joey cared more for her than about himself: “He was always more concerned about me than himself, and – although it is nice to be put first – I didn’t want it to be like that.”
~ On her thoughts after the break up and whether she thinks they will get back on track: “He’s gorgeous but we spent so much time together so quickly that the spark went out just as fast. But I reckon we could get it back.”
