It’s just days into the new year, but already 2012 looks set to be much better for Cheryl Cole than 2011. The 28-year-ancient beauty is reportedly all set to sign on the dotted line to front her very own talk show, which has been provisionally titled Late Night with Cheryl.
Featuring huge-name guests, the programme would see singer, talent show judge and aspiring actor Cheryl go into presenting, adding yet another string to her bow. According to Star magazine, TV bosses are desperate to sign the Geordie star up, as they reckon she could be a huge hit with audiences.
A source told the mag: “They know she’ll be a fantastic ratings winner and is the perfect fit to pull in incredible guests.”But, as Cheryl has many other rumoured projects in the pipeline – including music collaborations and more movie roles, following on from her cameo in What to Expect When You’re Expecting last year – Miss Cole is probably in no major rush to sign her time away just yet.
The source continued: “There have been a few film roles and scripts sent to her from Hollywood that are being considered. “She’s being hankered after to work on new music with US acts like Nicki Minaj, thanks to their mutual supporter (and manager) will.i.am.
”But Cheryl’s main interest in 2012 are her family tree, solo work and the reunion with Girls Aloud – will.i.am has tons of thoughts for them.”Looks like after her shock axe from X Factor USA last year, plus a rumoured disastrous reunion with ex-husband Ashley, Cheryl is determined to turn equipment around professionally and personally in 2012.
