The Girls Aloud singer has decided not to revert to her maiden name Tweedy, as she fears it would damage her brand. However, she is keen to lose another symbol of her marriage and has reportedly included ditching the neck tattoo on her list of new year resolutions. Although she is apparently certain it has to go, Cheryl still has to make a choice between laser removal and having the ink redesigned.
'There's no chance of her getting back with Ashley and she no longer wants the reminder of his cheating ways on her skin,' a source told the Daily Star Sunday. 'She's been looking at ideas and now just needs to decide whether to get it removed or reworked.' Cheryl had previously said she was happy to keep the tattoo, despite an acrimonious break-up after allegations Ashley had cheated on her. Speaking a few weeks after her divorce was finalised, she told the Guardian: 'I'm not ashamed of anything. I've got nothing to rub away.'
