This year’s X Factor has been billed as the most fashionable yet, with Dannii Minogue and Cheryl Cole’s ongoing style war, Stacey Solomon’s dazzling frocks and Jedward’s, er, PVC costumes. However, as the contestants turned up to the studio for their final rehearsals this afternoon, they were sporting a bizarre array of headwear.
Stacey opted for ear muffs over her headphones, Lloyd Daniels channelled old man vibes in a flat cap and Olly looked a little too smart in a blazer and trilby. But even worse, style icon Cheryl looked as if she’d copied Calvin Harris and turned up with a pineapple on her head.
