Actress Kate came a highly commendable third, beating Beyonce (6) and Eva (9), while X Factor judge Cheryl was voted into eighth place.

And they’re not the only gals from Blighty that have made an impression on men the world over. Six million guys across the globe voted on sex appeal, intelligence, humour and talent, deciding that Keeley Hazell (22), Kelly Brook (16) and Alexa Dixon (73) are all hot property.

Disappointingly, though, two of last year’s sexy British entrants, Kate Winslet and Keira Knightley, didn’t make the list at all.

The coveted No1 slot was taken by Canadian actress Emmanuelle Chriqui, who you may have spotted in HBO’s Entourage and movie You Don’t Mess With The Zohan.

Unsurprisingly, she was most pleased with her new crown. She said: “Hearing what the Top 99 vote is made of is the biggest compliment of all because it’s not just about being ‘hot’ but about being a well-rounded woman.” The Runner-up was Marisa Miller, a well-known American Victoria’s Secret model, who as far as we know, is really only known for being hot. But then, we’re bound to be biased…
